All kinds of new stuff tonight. Four songs in there was a song that had the words 'You wait for dark / Then you wait for day' and 'Patience, Patience.' It had the same sort of slow, dreamy vibe that makes me like Now and Then so much. The Skip James cover was played really choppy and hard... it was reminding me a lot of the Kinks. Finally there was a fast new one for the encore. The only words I remember catching were 'I don't care too much for that.' Oh, and I think one couplet went 'When I was a kid I saw a kite / Floating up above the trees at night.' Or something. In another time and place this one would have been a mosh pit burner. The band was sounding as tight and upbeat as I've ever heard them... a friend I was with said it was his favorite BTS gig in the last three years. I threw many goats.

Tickets were $15 up to the day of the show; Doors were at 7pm, show at 8pm.
