|* First documented performance|
With the Delusions, the No-Nos and Brett Netson.
After a long wait, Doug came back on stage and did a solo encore. It was probably This Night Has Opened My Eyes (by the Smiths), since they did more or less the same thing the first night at Irving Plaza a couple of nights later (note: encore confirmed by this blog post, 9/28/08). Here's a note I got from an audience member:
Well the first 2 nights have been AMAZING! Especially last night. I checked out your set list page and saw that you didn't have last nights encore. The house lights came up but only half way and i'd say around 50 people stayed and mashed up against the stage. After about 20 min of screaming and clapping Doug came out and asked that the satge lights be turned off. He did some slow, solo electric song that I didn't recognize. I don't have The Normal Years or BTS/Caustic Resin so I'm guessing it's either from them or *unreleased*. Any idea what it could have been? Slow, kinda sad, simple chord changes. ?
PS The taping scene is nonexistent. I brought my DAT the first night but couldn't find anyone to patch. Aparently the venue is strictly against and one kid got his rig ganked after only 10 min.
Doors at 7:00pm, show at 8:00pm. 18 and over show; tickets $15.
