A member of the audience sent me this note:
I attended the Bogart's show, which was awesome in it's own right, though when I saw them at the Crystal Ballroom (saturday show) it was a more intimate, and soulful show. I saw that you had the track listing. I should point out that the audience at this show was really obnoxious. People were actually heckling BTS, and I can't figure out why for the life of me. It was awful. One guy yelled repeatedly, "Play Twin Falls. Play it you bitch!". It was insane. BTS packed Bogart's as much as I've ever seen it packed, but people were rude and obnoxious. It was hard to forget about them and just get into the show, get into the rock coming forth from the stage. I heard people heckle out, "Play Free Bird!" a number of times. I believe, judging from the attitudes the band seemed to display, that they were pissed (Doug in particular) and they were playing Free Bird out of spite. They rocked it out as much as I've ever heard that song rocked out. I don't even like that song that much, but it was very well done. They said 'Thanks, good night' and walked off the stage.
I have no doubts that they would have continued playing had the crowd not been so lame. Ohio people, what the hell is wrong with you?
In defense of Ohio fans, I got another mail within a couple of days of posting this that said it wasn't that bad. I gotta say, 'PLAY TWIN FALLS YOU BITCH!' sounds kinda funny to me.
